High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)
Non-invasive, face lifting and skin tightening treatment
What is HIFU?
High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) has gained prominence in aesthetic medicine for its non-invasive approach to skin rejuvenation. Using high-frequency sound waves, HIFU stimulates collagen production in deeper skin layers, resulting in a tighter, more youthful appearance. Often referred to as the ‘Lunchtime Face Lift,’ this procedure is quick, comfortable, and requires minimal recovery time.
One of its key benefits is its non-invasive nature, bypassing surgical incisions. With little downtime, it appeals to those seeking cosmetic improvements without extensive recovery periods.
HIFU precisely targets areas like the neck, jowls, and brow, effectively firming sagging skin and reducing fine lines. It’s also effective in enhancing cheek and jawline contours, providing a more defined, youthful look.
Beyond its skin-tightening capabilities, HIFU jumpstarts collagen production, restoring the skin’s natural radiance. Collagen, vital for skin elasticity, diminishes with age, leading to wrinkles and sagging. HIFU encourages the body to generate fresh collagen and elastin fibers.

How Does it Work?
HIFU stands apart from other skin lifting methods like thread lifts or fillers by using focused ultrasound energy to penetrate skin layers without injections. This technology reaches varying depths within the skin, targeting the SMAS layer (muscle)—a crucial part addressed during a surgical facelift—triggering collagen production and ensuring lasting skin tightening.
This ultrasound treatment offers immediate visible results while enhancing improvements for up to 6 months post-treatment. The procedure combines micro and macro-focused ultrasound energy, providing both instant and gradual skin enhancement.”

HIFU FAQ
Following your HIFU Treatment, immediate results will be visible, with the full impact unfolding over the next 6 months as your body naturally regenerates collagen. This gradual but substantial improvement continues for up to 6 months and can last around 2 years (individual results may vary). To maintain these results as part of natural aging, ongoing skin care is recommended, often requiring top-up treatments.
Post-treatment care is crucial for optimal results and to minimize potential side effects. Upon completion, you may receive specific aftercare products to use at home. Following these steps helps enhance outcomes:
Skincare Routine: Before touching your face or body, ensure clean hands post-treatment. On the treatment day, use a non-exfoliating cleanser and light moisturizer. Resume using skin irritants and active ingredients like glycolic/salicylic acids, benzoyl peroxide, retinol, or vitamin C after 3 days. Resume anti wrinkle injections, chemical peels, and dermal fillers after 1-3 weeks. Resume waxing, tweezing, or depilatory creams after 3 days.
Showering and Physical Activities: You can shower and cleanse your skin immediately after the procedure. Avoid hot tubs, hot baths, saunas, steam rooms, and strenuous exercise post-treatment. Other routine activities can be resumed.
Lifestyle Adjustments: Refrain from alcohol consumption. The liver plays a role in eliminating destroyed fat deposits. Aim to drink 8 glasses of water daily for 4 weeks, and maintain a healthy diet and light exercise regimen.
Undergoing HIFU treatment while breastfeeding or pregnant is not advised. There haven’t been tests conducted on HIFU treatment for individuals in these conditions, making it uncertain whether it’s safe. Thus, we strongly recommend avoiding these procedures until after childbirth and the completion of your breastfeeding period.
It’s common to experience initial flushing or redness during and after treatment, which typically subsides within a few hours. Occasionally, redness may persist a bit longer. Temporary effects like slight swelling, tingling, or tenderness to the touch are normal and transient. In rare instances, temporary bruising or numbness in small skin areas may occur post-procedure.
